Why was Great Brittain so quick to Declare War upon Germany for her aggression against Poland?

0

The UK declared war on Germany, during WW1 because they entered a neutral country and an ally, Belgium. The UK had a treaty with Belgium saying they will defend their neutrality. Britain’s Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain, met with Hitler and Hitler agreed, on paper, that he wont invade any neighbouring countries. This could have led to invading the rest of Europe or even the world, so the idea was to stop Hitler before the Germans was too strong. The Germans entered Poland and as a result, the UK declared war. The Jews wasn’t really a factor which caused the UK to declare war. Maybe they feel they have no need to thank the allied troops because they didn’t go to war to save the Jews.
