Why we indian a slave and depend upon English as our Hindi has full capability?
Because India is not Hindia; There is absolutely no prohibition in any law for any educational institution in any Hindi speaking state to introduce any course in Hindi medium. Several autonomous bodies and professional institutes already have such courses. The problem arises only when Hindi is equated with Indianness, by zealots, and all efforts undertaken to develop and popularise Hindi get negated by repulsive reaction from the rest of the populace. If Hindi zealots did not resort to coercive and compulsive measures in the past, by this time, by natural process, Hindi would have gained its deserving place as a link language, paving way for its eventual placement as the sole official language say a century hence. But in these days of stiff competition for job opportunities, language is not vested with any intrinsic value but only utilitarian value and so, English being the best available tool, gets importance.
