Why we need chlorine and non-chlorine test for textile materials?

This is purely for laundering purpose. Some of the materials may lose colors when it is treated with chlorine bleaching agents present in the detergents or external bleaching activites. By that time we can go for non chlorine bleaching agents which may not affect the colors. So as that we can give the care instruction as “Bleach when Needed” which refers to the non-chlorine bleach. This is not only for colored materials but also for white fabrics which gets yellowed when it gets contact with chlorine particles, so that we can go for non chlorine bleaching agents. Therefore in the Textile industry part it is necessary to test the above thing & give the proper care instruction before the material is marketed. If the both affects the material we can go for Do not Bleach instruction.
