Why Were Czar Nicholas Of Russia And His Family Executed?

0

The Czar was selfish and lazy. He wouldn’t help his people, they were all poor and starving while him and his family were sitting up in their palace living like royalty. Eventually the people got so furious with him that they wanted him executed. Their thoughts were, who gave him the special privilege to take away all of our money, raise our taxes, and let us die and allow him to live in riches. Why should they suffer at his expense, he didn’t help them at all.

The royal family represented the old regime and could not continue living, even elsewhere…this is how the communists thought…because resistance to their rule would always gravitate around the Tsar…

They called him “Nicholas the Bloody” for a reason. A lot of people suffered torture and death under him. They had seen their families suffer as well so they wanted to make him suffer the same way. Unfortunately his family had to die to pay for his crimes.

The Tsar and his family were executed to prevent the possibility of being restored to the throne. Sure, there were other distant relatives, but no-one to really rally around like the core royal family. Also, it sent a message to the rest of the world that this new regime was serious.. and ruthless.
