Stop putting your powder in the drawer. I know the makers say you should, but they have a vested interest in you buying new machines. Use a liquid soap in future. It dissolves much quicker. Put it straight into the drum. You can tip your powder into the drum with no problems. Don’t worry about it falling through the holes. When the machine fills, it will dissolve and be used. White vinegar will clean your machine, but so will washing soda. It is less than a £1 a bag from major supermarkets etc. Tip half a bag into the drum and set washer to max temp empty and set it going. Get into the habit of adding a cupful to every wash from now on. It will boost the powder/liquid, dissolve grease and stop the machine smelling and furring up.
