Why wont my infinity speaker system work with my new stereo?

If your Infinity system is in a Chrysler or Dodge vehicle, you only need to activate the Infinity amplifier. The factory harness includes an amp turn-on wire that can be connected to your new head unit’s remote output wire to turn on the factory amp. This is usually the blue wire in a Chrysler wire harness adapter. If you have an Infinity system in a different kind of vehicle, like a Mitsubishi, you may need to bypass the factory amplifier or use a different type of harness to integrate it with the new stereo. In either case, it shouldn’t be necessary to replace the speakers or do much re-wiring. Note that if you replace the stock speakers, you should bypass the factory amplifier.
