Why won you look at CD-roms, websites, image attachments, or floppy disks?
Time. We receive literally thousands of applications a year. Popping in a 1/2″ VHS tape or looking through a normal portfolio is very efficient compared to waiting for websites to load, searching for various appropriate hardware or software applications, or dealing with unintended viruses. Please be aware that your computing environment may be quite different from ours. • When can I expect a response from you? You should receive a postcard within a month acknowledging receipt of your submission. Unfortunately, because of the volume of applications, we are unable to provide specific feed-back on your demo reel or portfolio. If we are actively hiring and are interested in your application, we will contact you by phone or e-mail. • Can I get my demo reel or portfolio back from you? Again, because of the volume of submissions, we do not automatically return demo reels or portfolios.
