Why would people want to visit japan?
I’ll probably be one of the few whose answer is something other than anime and/or manga. I actually have a prominent interest in all Asian cultures, including Chinese, Korean, Filipino, Indian, and of course, Japanese. I go to high school where over half of my good friends are Asian immigrants that have been here long enough to communicate with me in understandable English. It’s been this way for several years, and I continue to get more and more interested in all of their languages, cultures, and old lifestyles. My best friends are Chinese (both Mandarin-speaking and Cantonese-speaking), Korean and Filipino. A couple of years ago, I noticed some of my Chinese friends studying Japanese and developing an interest for anime and manga. I tried doing the same, but found that anime and manga were just generally not my thing. I didn’t want to give up on the Japanese language though–it seemed pretty neat to me. I knew that if I learned it fluently, it would make the transition to both Chines
