Will a Solatube Daylighting System work in cold climates and northern latitudes?

Solatube Daylighting Systems small size and sealed system works very well in cold weather. The seal at the ceiling level prevents warm moist air from inside the house entering and condensing inside the skylight. The ceiling and dome rings act as thermal breaks eliminating cold transfer. In extremely cold weather, a small amount of frost may appear inside the dome, but this disappears as the temperature inside the tube equalizes with the outside.
