GARY, Ind. - Officials say planners of a proposed museum honoring Michael Jackson in his Indiana hometown want to add a theme park and a golf course to the project. Jackson Museum Performing Arts Center Corp. agent Odie Anderson says the project could include a replica of Jackson's Never land Ranch estate. He says he expects construction to begin in 2010 on a 10-acre downtown site owned by the northwestern Indiana city. Gary Councilwoman Marilyn Krusas says she has trouble seeing how an amusement park and golf course could fit on the site. The Jackson family got its start in Gary, but efforts to create a museum in the city have stalled for years.
