Classilla 9.0.4 and 9.1 both partially improve the performance and operation of JavaScript, and a full rewrite is planned for a future release. Even so, please only enable JavaScript when absolutely necessary for a site to function. It is much faster, safer and more stable to let NoScript control JavaScript for you rather than keeping it enabled all the time.
