Will college accept my level 2 btec as a GCSE?
Each college has its own rules about such things so I reckon the best thing you could do is to ask them. You could phone but it might be even better if you can make a quick five-minute appointment to actually talk to someone because it gives you an opportunity for you to ‘sell yourself’ in case their rules would normally exclude you. If you come across well, they will be more inclined to bend the rules. Personally, I have a lot of respect for BTEC L2 so I think they’d be crazy not to accept it as the extra qualification you need.
