Will DeGeneration X re-form once Triple H and Shawn Michaels return from their respective injuries?
Triple H is expected to return from his quadriceps injury later this summer and is expected to work a match at SummerSlam against Randy Orton. Shawn Michaels had knee surgery on May 23rd and has not yet begun the rehabilitation process due to the fact that he can not put weight on his knee. Therefore, there is no timetable on when both of them will be back healthy in WWE, much less return as a DX tag team. From what I’ve heard, the company wants to push Triple H again as a singles performer and will probably do the same with Michaels when he returns. The two may work occasional matches as DX again (along with music) but I do not see WWE pushing the faction near as hard as they did last year. Injuries have decimated WWE and with the lack of singles talent, Triple H and Shawn Michaels are needed to work as singles performers.
