Will Frontline for puppies prevent against cat flees?
There is a special “FRONTLINE plus” for cats – I used it yesterday on my cat Woespus the west coast cat! (SMILE) One does in fact get two types of flees: Pulex Carnis (dog Flees) and Pulex Felix (Cat Flees) – which are smaller – this notwithstanding both cat and dogs play host to both kinds. May I suggest that Flee and tick collars are no longer in vogue, Frontline PLUS is the new generation flee and tick repellent, and one gets it made specially for either Dog (where it is packaged according to the size of the dog) or for cats. Here in South Africa we found the Flees became resistant to both FRONTLINE and ADVANTAGE but the New ADVANAGE PLUS seem to do the trick!
