well, i started giving my baby cereal and gerber a little bit before she was 4 months, and her pd told me it was ok…but that the gerber they recomend it until the sixth month… because of food allergies… u only should feed ur baby solid food once or twice a day.. because it is for them to start learning how to eat… not for their weight.. but if you think your baby is overweight or your doctor told she is over weight… only give it to her once a day… and if you are gonna feed her gerber make sure is the first stage… and that is just one fruit or vegtable… because if she has a food allergy and you fed her two or more vegetables at a time u wont know which one it was… GOOD LUCK ON DONT DOUBT A BOUT ASKING HER PD… THEY ALWAYS HAVE AN ANSWER…..
