Common acids such as hydrochloric and nitric will not dissolve gold and can be used to test if somethingg is gold. These acids will not react with mica which is like glass. Perchloric orHydrofluoricc acids should dissolve mica. They will also dissolve gold. Aqua regia (a mixture of hydrochloric and nitric acids) will dissolve gold but not mica.
