Will Gorilla Glue Ruin A Canvas?

YES! Gorilla Glue will ruin any surface that it comes in contact with. It is NOT removable, and it expands, so you’ll end up with a permanent rough spot on the canvas. If you’re gluing only the back around the frame, and really want it to be attached FOREVER, you’re probably fine. My husband used to work in construction. His dumb@$$ boss actually glued the tires of his own truck to the client’s driveway. It took more time to clean up the driveway (and replace the tires) than it did to finish the construction job. Seriously, don’t mess with Gorilla Glue unless you really, really mean it.
