In the past, in many ancients people use to married in the limit of their own cultural group and it was banned to marry from another group. Nowadays, this concept in marriage is still being used by many people in many countries. They want their children to have the same physical features that their parents and family are carrying since many years. For the purpose of this debate the tern “Genetic Engineering” can be defined as “The process of moving genes from one genome to another. This technology makes it possible to change an aspect of the biological functioning of an organism by altering its genetic material”. As many of the new discoveries that science brings, genetic engineering may come with some benefits, but in this debate a lot of facts, opinions and examples will show that it is wrong whatever good may come of it. Any and everything that we do changes the future. Evolution will continue, though its path may be distorted through cloning.

In addition to ‘spare’ parts for the living another positive result might be attainable. If a clone can be produced from a person who is intelligent, handsome(or beautiful), athletic, long lived, with a happy personality, and no genetic evidence of abnormal diseases, it certainly could be a turnaround for overall human health. It would seem that the genetic strength, with all the super treatments available, there is an interruption of the selection process. And a general increase in defective genetic patterns. Such as nearsightedness, diabetes, inadequate pelvis requiring as much as 25% of babies born only by C section, low IQ’s, and so forth. If this genetic improvement were practiced on a small scale and entirely voluntarily, it seems likely that a gene pool of ‘good’ health could be accomplished without too much stress on all involved.

Human cloning will absolutely not change evolution. How do I know this? Contradictory to modern scientific belief, humans are not evolving, now nor have they ever. Man was created by God and we are what we are. However, if we keep messing with things that God is in control of, we will see side affects and they will not be good. Human cloning is stupid & dangerous and people that agree with it or involve themseves in it are the same. I do not know where you stand on this subject, but human life is something very preciuos and should not be tampered with. IF people could just believe God for who He is and stop trying to control and complicate everything. The simplicity of the gospel is too complex for some of the “smartest” people. Good luck on your essay. Maybe a good idea for your essay could be putting a variety of views, including yours on the report. Just an idea- Have fun!
