If you are wanting to climb Huayna Picchu, please coordinate with your tour guide as the park have restricted schedules for climbing times and number of people (400 persons per day). It is usually not a problem for you to climb the mountain if you are sure to go directly to the trail head after the guided portion of the tour. The trail is about an hour and a half round trip.
