If your application has been approved to take a written test, you will receive an admission notice to the test several days before the written test date telling you where and when to report. Be sure to bring the entrance card with you to the test site. If you have not received your admission card by Wednesday before the Saturday exam, then call the Dutchess County Department of Human Resources at 845-486-2169. If you have filed an application in response to a recruitment announcement for a job opening, your name will be sent to the hiring department if your application is approved. You may be contacted for an interview. If you are not selected to be interviewed or are not hired after an interview, your application will be kept on file for up to one year. For more info contact: Dutchess County Department of Human Resources at 845-486-2169.
