Will iWork open Microsoft Word & Excel documents ?

Hi and welcome to Discussions, Apples iWork or better said Pages can open Word documents and Numbers can open Excel documents. But iWork is only avaiable for Mac OSX, not for Windows. When running Windows you either need the MS Office package (or MS Word and MS Excel as standalone programs) or you can use the free OpenOffice http://www.openoffice.org/ OpenOffice is also avaiable for Mac OSX.
