Jessica Alba is preparing to meet the Fockers – she is in talks to star in the third installment of Ben Stiller’s hit family comedy franchise. The film would once again star Stiller, as well as Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Teri Polo, Blythe Danner, Barbra Streisand and Owen Wilson. Stiller, along with co-stars Wilson and De Niro, has signed to make upcoming comedy Little Fockers, a third film in the Meet The Parents series, which has pulled in more than $800 million worldwide. And Alba is said to be keen to join the stellar cast. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Alba will play a pharmaceutical rep who casts a spell over the male castmembers. John Hamburg, who wrote the first two movies in the series, is penning the script. Filming is scheduled to start later this year (09). The newest addition to the “Meet the Parents” movies, Jessica Alba, arrived in Chicago on Sunday to film the third installment, “Little Fockers.” According to Reuters, Alba is playing “an attractive pharmaceutical rep whose looks wreak havoc on male characters in the story.” The 28-year-old actress was spotted having dinner at River North’s Hub 51 on Sunday night along with two associates. She ate ahi tuna poke, fish tacos and chicken nachos (fellow Razzie Awards favorite Lindsay Lohan also had the chicken nachos when she stopped by with Samantha Ronson in August). “Little Fockers” is the first major movie to film in the Chicago-area since the “Nightmare on Elm Street” remake, which filmed in Arlington Heights and Elk Grove Village from May through July. “Fockers” co-stars Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro and will hit theaters July 30, 2010, according to imdb.com.
