Will KCnet contact my current telephone company so that my old, legacy telephone service will be cancelled?

No, we do not contact your existing telephone company to cancel your services. KCnet will assign you a new KCnet Digital Phone telephone number that works over your existing internet connection, but you are responsible for making any changes to your existing telephone service, including cancellation of those services, if you so desire. You can use your KCnet Digital Phone number and your traditional telephone service at the same time, if you wish. You also have the option at the time of signup to have your “old” legacy phone number ported over to the KCnet Digital Phone service, thereby keeping your existing phone number. If you did not do this at the time of signup, you can still complete a Letter of Authorization (LOA) to have your old phone number ported to KCnet, please contact us for more details.
