Will Kobe Bryant surpass Michael Jordan as the the greatest player of all-time?

It’s hard to say who will be the greatest player of all-time. If you’re judging it by career total stats, then Kobe will surpass MJ because Kobe started early and came out of high school. MJ retired twice as a Bull and lost nearly four good years total before becoming a Wizard. If you’re judging my total accolades, awards and accomplishments, then MJ still may hold the title. MJ has 5 league MVPs, Kobe has 0 still. MJ has 10 scoring titles, Kobe has 2. MJ has 6 rings, Kobe has 3 (so far..). Kobe has a few more years in him before he is out of his peak years. So basing it off history, MJ might still be the GOAT in this category. If you’re judging it on all around talent and skill, it is a close battle because both play very, very similar. Offensively, both have the same work ethic, but with new rules set in todays era, you could say then that MJ was better. So in this case, Kobe will not be able to max out there. Defensively, MJ will always be a better defender. He was defensive player
