Will Librax help with anxiety?
Interesting question! I have generalized anxiety and have been trying to find a long-term med to replace Zoloft, so this caught my attention and I did some research… Apparently Librax is prescribed to GAD and Panic Attack sufferers as a way to help regulate the bowels. With GAD and panic attacks physical symptoms vary per person, IBS is one of those physical symptoms. After reading the various side effects and Q/A on this med I don’t think I would take it, but the side effects may not be that big of a deal for someone else if their anxiety is causing that much of an issue with their bowels. So basically to answer your question, yes and no. It won’t help the actual anxiety, but it will help some of the physical symptoms from anxiety.
