Will Maserati dealers sell Alfa Romeos in America?
I have never heard of dealers buying especially cars from other dealers for sale. Maybe the owner handed over his car to trade in order to buy a new one? Well, these are just my guesses. Some, yes. Most Maserati dealers would like to sell Alfa Romeos. But we have only 47 Maserati dealers in America and we would need more than that for Alfa Romeo. But we do want to start slow and grow. We do not want to start with a bang. What’s it like being a German car boss working for such a quintessentially Italian company? The link is me, as manager, and their common Italian DNA. Maserati will continue to use some Ferrari mechanicals, including engines. But there will be more parts sharing in the future with Fiat and Alfa Romeo. Maseratis will become more affordable cars. To do that you cannot continue to have the same parts costs as Ferrari. Jointly, I see Alfa Romeo and Maserati as the Italian alternative
