Yes, for the time being. This is a Dh10 billion project comprising residential and commercial units. Marine, sewage, marina and beach protection works are almost complete. The work on power, water, access roads, bridges etc is advancing fast. The design of this project has been done by Halcrow and Darwish has been awarded the engineering contract for Dh340 million. Darwish is a prominent engineering firm with a rich portfolio in the UAE, particularly in Rak. The complete package of the infrastructure works for Mina Al Arab has been undertaken by Darwish.
