Will old-school pokemon or magic the gathering cards ever be worth something someday?
Certain cards will be worth something. You won’t ever find a 1/1 common that is worth a lot of money, but the rare cards that end up not getting reprinted are worth more. Check the price guides. Get an older one, and a newer one. This way you can see what it used to be worth compared to what it is now. What you could do is put them on eBay. There is always someone looking to buy. The thing about eBay is that it’s not what YOU think it’s worth, it’s what other people think it’s worth. I’d be willing to pay 750 dollars for an Alpha Black Lotus, just to say I had it. But I’m not gonna pay book value. Send me an email if you want to sell them now, I might be interested.
