Will registrants and registrars be allowed to transfer domain names without requiring a change in the associated approved Aviation Community Membership ID (.aero ID)?
Yes, registrars are to be allowed to transfer domain names between registrants. In order to do this, the gaining registrant must have an approved Aviation Community Membership ID (.aero ID) with the associated registrant class for the transferred domain name, which must be the same as the registrant class, associated with the .aero ID of the losing registrant. Please note that the following steps would need to be performed with the transfer: a. Update the .aero ID record associated with the transferred domain b. Update the Registrant contact information associated with the transferred domain.
