The (dpv) Nitro includes Ruby 1.8.5. In order to use Ruby on Rails, you will need to set up the environment first. We recommend using mongrel_cluster as detailed in our comprehensive KnowledgeBase article. For authoritative documentation please read the RubyGems installation guide as well as these instructions for installing Rails. Plesk also comes with Mod FCGID, which can be used to set up a more basic environment for Ruby On Rails.
