Q: Will SilkGuard replace the need for Scale Inhibitor? A: No. BioGuard Scale Inhibitor should continue to be used in pools with high calcium hardness levels to prevent scaling. Q: When will Silk products be included in ALEX? A: Silk Tabs and Silk Sticks will be included in the new updates of ALEX (3.1 and 4.0) under the sanitizer field. 1-inch and 3-inch tablets will continue to be sanitizer options for BioGuard customers through the next few updates to allow BioGuard dealers to move through existing inventory of BioGuard 1-inch and 3-inch Tablets and Stingy Sticks.
