The employee may view all of this information in ESS. The employee will be able to maintain an address for his/her permanent residence as well as a mailing address if the employee has a separate mailing address. The employee will be able to make changes to his/her permanent residence and a separate mailing address in ESS. Since changing the other types of information requires additional paperwork and approval from outside organizations, the employee will continue to submit the required paperwork to his agency’s human resources office for changes such as name change, date of birth, social security number, etc..
