Will the EUs Lisbon Treaty ever come into force?
It is precisely the lack of interest in such a Q that the Lisbon Treaty will be driven through unfortunately for Great Britain. We will end up being a rather insignificant country with similar footings as Luxembourg. Our armed forces will be placed under the command of EU High Commands, and we wont be able to fire a shot to defend our own territory without permission. All laws will be dictated by Brussels or Strasbourg, rendering our own parliament redundant. It is known that ALL 3 main parties Lib/Lab/Con are ‘up for it’ and wish the UK to be fully ratified….. and it will be irreversible. UKIP however are the only party in place that is actually calling for a full U-turn on the EU and put to the UK electorate a referendum on ‘leaving’ the EU completely. If they are not supported and the British public bury their head and just accept the Lisbon treaty, I believe it will be the end of the UK as we know it. That’s why I will be voting for UKIP on June 4 in the Euro elections.
