Will the GOP ads against health care reform backfire?
country is all but dead thanks to the bullies at the Town Hall meetings, lobbyists, and Republicans disseminating false information about “death panels” and mandatory “suicide” counselling, aka “pulling the plug on grandma.” How much better it would have been for Americans to have a genuine debate about various elements of the health care plan. We are still as uninformed on this subject as we were at the start of this conversation thanks to the Republican party. It would appear they are more interested in defeating anything Obama has to offer, rather than offer their own ideas to reform health care, to serve the people that sent them to Washington.
