Will the new church be on either the current St. Jude or Sacred Heart sites?
The Bishop feels the St. Jude site is too close to St. Matthew. The diocese goal is to have parishes more than 3 miles apart. The Sacred Heart location is being reviewed as one of the building options. Have we purchased land to build on yet? We are currently looking at sites. Recently, a location came to our attention that would be adjacent to an already developing area of new homes. The bishop asks that at least three possible locations, including the Sacred Heart property, be presented to him for consideration. No final decision has been made yet. The final possibilities will be presented to the Parish before land is purchased. What is the status of site research for our Building Project?
