— Robert Jones, Houston Bonzi Wells could be a difference maker in the playoffs if he’s healthy and productive. But he’s running out of time to solidify his spot in the rotation. Before Wednesday’s game against the Clippers, Jeff Van Gundy said he’s going to play at least eight guys over the remainder of the regular season and playoffs. No, he wasn’t already excluding Bonzi (or even Kirk Snyder). He was merely pointing out that eight guys are for sure going to get minutes as the season unravels. He left the door open for someone else to get into the mix, but the coach is obviously looking to tighten his rotation more than expand it at this point in the season.
