With the introduction of H3C MSR series routers, what are the plans for the current AR series routers?
MSR series is the modular routers of low-end and mid-range series routers developed by H3C. It is compared to AR28/46 series in AR series. Although there may be a case that the position of MSR series in a network coincides with AR 18 series, but the former has no corresponding relationship with the latter. That is, sale of MSR series will not affect AR18 series greatly for different form and position. AR series modularized routers use Comware 3 version to support IPv4 protocol. A rich of features, stable products and a large of installation base, some AR series customers and those customers who have no demand on IPv6 at present will still use and purchase AR series routers. In this case, H3C will continue the sale and maintenance of AR series modularized routers at least 18 months, and provide additional software features according to real circumstances till there is no need on AR series in the market.
