With this version and beyond, the makers of DC++ have made it necessary to hash all of the files before they can be shared. This could very well cause you to fall below the 3GB limit. If this happens, there is no way around it. You will need to hash till you meet the requirements. For most computers, 3 GB can be hashed in under 10 minutes. This trade-off is most likely caused by the addition of a Hash Throttle in ‘Settings->Advanced’ This should be set to an integer value, probably 1-3 if your CPU is maxed way out. Keep in mind though, the slower you hash, the longer it will take if you are under that minimum. To share what you have finished hashing, type ‘/refresh’ at any time.
