It would all depend on the type of bottle or lamp (plastic, brass, etc.) and also how fat the genie was. If he didn’t have much fat on him and the lamp was brass or another metal, he’d most likely sink. Fat floats in water though, so if he had some fat on him and was in a plastic bottle, he’d probably float.
