Would a laboratory-grown brain possess a consciousness?
The question seeks to explore the nature and by this means the source or, one-time origin of the consciousness, but then it assumes to understand what consciousness is: could there be brain without mind and mind without consciousness? Is mind instead of the brains not the consciousness, or the consciousness the mind? We begin from the start. We consider the growth of brain first to see if this consideration can lead us to the growth of the mind or consciousness. This is the fact is brains is the product of life, first and fore most, and life where can be grown in the laboratory it cannot be created. We can for instance grow plants and other living organisms, but the seeds or the basic building blocks we have to bring from the outside. In other words, the seeds of an organism capable of bearing consciousness have to be borrowed from the grown in the world over millions of years.
