Would a misconduct discharge form the armed forces bar me from attending law school?
It won’t keep you out of law school, but you might want to consult with your state Bar about the nature of your violations and whether they would keep you from practicing law. You really don’t want to waste three years in law school only to find out that your violations disqualify you from practicing. Before you are admitted to the Bar, you have to disclose any prior misconduct, so this would have to come up.
