Would a Nissan Skyline R32 beat a Porsche Gt3?
Both really good cars but we have to look at the facts that the Skylines came detuned and IE the R32 GTR came off the shop floor at around 330bhp,above what was on paper due to regs at that time.And true running power of the RB26dett is close to 600bhp and still the engine can take more if fact well over 1000bhp. All this mixed with a great handling setup which even now is not seen in most modern cars,it was once said it has more technology than a Space shuttle not true but you get the idea. So we have to look at the facts that a race against a stock GTR would be like it being a 3 legged Horse.But at what point do we class the car as running completely true. After all the Skyline has nothing to prove you only have to look at its history of motor racing wins from back when it came out until now where we still see it winning races etc even the drag awd record is from a R32 Skyline.
