Would British soldiers?
Those T-shirts had NOTHING to do with the government. It was just a handful of soliders who were idiots and made the T-shirts. They were NOT sanctioned, they were NOT allowed and they were NOT authorized. The media makes this junk up to be something different than it really is. I’ll make it simple for you: If a IDF soldier robs a bank, would ask if the British army allows it’s soldiers to rob irish banks? Don’t be stupid.
What yarbsea said, plus the soldiers weren’t wearing the Tshirts while on active duty. THEY wouldn’t be allowed to, neither would British or any other soldiers on active duty be allowed such rubbish. It wouldn’t be a court martial offence, but would, i’m sure get the soldier time in millitary jail.
I seriously doubt the British armed forces would allow t-shirts of “i killed ira people haha” or “death to all IRA” or anything as extremist as that. the British Armed Forces have a STRICT uniform system and anyone wearing extremeist tops like that would be given a dishonourable conduct and removed from the UK Armed Forces at least thats what i think would happen and too right.
