Would Color exist if our eyes didnt perceive light?

What we perceive as different colors is light in different wave lengths. We do not see x-rays at all but only an idiot would try to use our lack of its perception as proof it doesn’t exist. You friend seems to be arguing that if we can’t perceive it it doesn’t exist. If that were the case, wouldn’t all the people that have seen color than gone blind or even more simply, died, have effected colors? So far they haven’t. The energy is out there but if no one were seeing it the wavelengths would still be there, unnamed. THe energy would exist in the form it is now- varying wvelengths. The argument that we need to see or pereive sophomoreg for it to exist is extremely self centered (egocentric universe) and is fun for sophomore class brain teasers but that’s about all.
