Would Earths speed of rotation start to decrease as years progresses?

According to Newton’s First Law of Motion, i.e. every body is in rest or in uniform motion will changes its state only if external force is applied. hence the Earth is in uniform speed of rotation will changes its speed unless an external heavenly body hit on it with force and mass which will changes the rotational speed or revolutional speed o the Earth. As per our Indian Panchanga [Hindu calendar] which is more than five thousand years old, the Earth’s revolution around the Sun or rotation is not changed. According our Earth’s revolution and rotation, they predict the eclipses, Sun rise and set with accurate time at difference places in India.
