Would Ferdinand Approve of Thomas Blitch Using the Name Magellan Academy?
Ferdinand Magellan was a brave maritime explorer that was the first to successfully circumnavigate the Earth. Magellan Academy on the other hand, is led by a gentleman by the name of Thomas Blitch that would lead you to believe he runs an esteemed day care in Jacksonville, but I would argue that it’s a drop-off center. Well, I’m not so sure the name Magellan Academy is being used in the proper spirit. Let’s compare and contrast this celebrated world changer with Thomas Blitch and his Magellan Academy. Again, don’t get me wrong, there are very nice, well-intentioned people working for this day care center, but after a surprisingly contentious and demeaning exchange with Thomas Blitch, I found his actions to hardly be in line with the Magellan Academy doctrine.
