Would I be taken seriously as a Caucasian Singaporean?
I’m a Singaporean and i don’t think you would be considered strange.However,you might be considered smart here because we Singaporeans tend to get easily influence by the western culture.In other words,we look up to Caucasians.The teens here want to look like caucasions and the working adults here look up to Caucasian leaders.(Donald Trump,Bill Gates etc) But you don’t have to worry about a thing.The people here are very friendly and very approachable.And you don’t have to worry about being rob or anything because it is such a safe place to live in.Our economy is growing so that means that it shouldn’t be a problem for you to find a job here.Also,Singapore is going to be a really fun place to live in.With the Casinos and the resorts and all kinds of other commercial purposes being build,you wouldn’t be bored if you were to live here. And about your question,my answer is yes,you would be taken seriously.But not as a ‘Caucasian Singaporean’.Everybody here is simply known as a Singaporean
