Would i have symptoms 12 days past ovulation?
I’m 9.5 weeks and I had cravings almost immediately, although I have quite strange taste in food anyway. I felt a very weird sensation in my tummy days after conceiving. It felt very tender, almost like I had a tummy bug, but I didn’t. I had a very strong feeling that I was pregnant and wasn’t at all surprised when I got a positive result two days before my period was due (I ovulated 16 days before my period was due anyway, so I actually tested 14 days after ovulation and got a result – does that make sense?). In both this pregnancy and my last I’ve felt “period pains”. Which is very normal as it’s the uterus growing rapidly in size. When you have a period, your uterus contracts to expel the blood. And when you’re pregnant, your uterus contracts as it grows in size, so the tummy pain can feel very much the same. So really at this stage it could be either one, a period or a pregnancy.
