Would it be hard to make my own slippers out of stuffed animals?
What a neat project! I can think of a few ways to do it… First of all, if you had two matching stuffed animals you would want them to have either flat tummies or flat backs for the bottom or your slipper, and to be big eough for your feet!. Secondly, you would want some sort of tread for the bottom so you wouldnt wear them out. Third you need a sort of cuff at the top to keep them on your foot. I would buy a pair of sock style slippers that come up on your ankle, then two stuffed animals. Cut your holes in the animals so that the tread of the sock slipper sticks out one end and the ankle top sticks out the other end. Use your glue gun to secure all the edges around the tread, and then slipstitch the top of the animal smoothly onto the ankle of the top of the slipper to keep it snug and hold in all the stuffing.
