P. T. Barnum is known as one of the most prominent hucksters of all times. He was attributed as the one that said something like, “A sucker is born every minute,” or something like that. It may be a surprise to know but, in matter of fact, ol’ Barnum should have never laid claim to that truism. It would seem that expression was expounded by one of his staunchest competitors in the world of fakery.
